| This three story house, located in the heart of the trendy, eclectic Commercial Drive area, is only four years old and was built with heritage home style. The Pacific Coliseum, only 1.8 miles away, is the Olympic figure skating venue and for short track speed skating. The house is a few minute walk to buses and the Skytrain rapid transit system which, two stops later, drops you off downtown at Canada Hockey Place and BC Place, the location for the opening and closing Olympics ceremonies as well as nightly medal ceremonies. This Skytrain stop also gets you to the Athletes Village. In addition, the Skytrain connects to the Canada Line route to the Olympic venues in Richmond such as the Richmond Olympic Oval for speed skating. When you aren't busy taking in the Olympics enjoy the atmosphere and amenities of the famous Commercial drive area - approximately fifteen blocks of over 300 unique, independently-owned coffee shops, restaurants, shops, lounges and pubs. Buy your groceries at any one of a number of nearby stores or forget that and try out some of the many nearby award-winning restaurants to fit any budget. With this house being one block off of Commercial Drive, you have the option to be in the centre of the action or take a break and 'get away from it all'. Enjoy! |
