GUIDE TO LISTING

Follow these simple steps to have your property viewed by thousands of Olympic visitors:

1. Click on the LIST NOW button on the homepage. This will take you straight to the registration page where you can enter your contact details so that we can keep in touch with you about your property.
2. Once you have submitted this information, you will be taken to your User Control Panel to list your property. This online form will take about 5 - 10 minutes to complete. Be sure to fill in every field to maximise the appearance of your listing and the exposure your property will receive through searches.
3. The Title of your property Listing will appear in searches as well as at the top of your Listing. Keep this brief and catchy.
4. The Introduction also appears in searches and is a brief summary of the information you will provide in your Detailed Description.
5. In your Detailed Description, highlight the features of your property and clearly describe what you will be providing in the rental. Visiting guests like to know details of the bedding configuration, number and size of televisions, whether cable TV is provided, internet accessibility as well as access to nearby amenities and facilities. It is to your advantage to provide as many details as possible in your description so the visiting guests are clear on what is being offered. Please do not list payment conditions or rental rate in your Description as these details are covered in other sections of the listing and website.
6. Entering your Property Location will ensure a map is embedded into your listing, highlighting the proximity of your property in relation to Olympic Venues. Your address will not be visible to viewers of your listing and is used simply for calculating the proximity to nearby points of interest.
7. Your Property Details will appear at the top of your Listing and some will also appear in searches. It is important to list these details as accurately as possible as these will be verified by a member of RFTG once a rental has been secured.
8. The next section is quite simple and quick. By checking the box next to the Amenities and Kitchen Appliances, your listing will indicate these items as being provided and included in the rental.
9. Finally you are asked to enter your Pricing information. It is a requirement that all listings contain Pricing information for at least the month of February. You may have already discussed a rental rate with an RFTG member. If you are not sure please contact us to discuss. Alternatively you can browse through the website to see what comparable properties are being listed at. You can list a number of different rental periods by different names and you can use the calendars to adjust the dates for that particular rental period. We have a minimum rental period of one week for all properties so please keep in mind that the rate you list will be a weekly rate, even if your Minimum rental period is listed as 2 weeks or more. To add more rental periods, simply select the More Rental Periods button and another section will appear for you to add more pricing information. Once all fields have been completed, be sure to click on Add to Database so that your listing will come through to our system.
10. Once you have completed the Property Details form you will be taken to the Photos section. Here you will be able to add photos of your property and of your surrounding area to your listing. As many of our clients are coming from overseas, they rely heavily on the photos to get a sense of the property they may be renting. It is important to have as many photos as necessary to give a clear indication of your property and it is also important that these photos are of high quality. If you would like to engage the services of our resident photographer, please visit our Services tab. It may also be to your advantage to add photos of the surrounding area so the guests can get a sense of the type of neighbourhood in which they will be residing and any nearby points of interest such as shopping districts, restaurants and Olympic venues. To add a photo, click the Browse button and select the photo you wish to upload from your computer. Click add photo and you will see it appear below. Once you have uploaded all the photos to each section you may choose the main photo that will appear on your listings page, as well as delete any photos that you no longer want. To change the order of the photos, simply click and drag them into position. From left to right, top to bottom, this will be the order in which they appear on your Listing. Be sure to click on Save Changes when you have finished.
11. The final step towards completing the Listing process is the payment of the Listing fee. On the photos page you can either click on the 3rd step at the top of the page or you can Click Here when you have finished adding photos. This will take you through to the payments section. Choose the payment that applies to your listing. You can only choose one at a time but once you have been directed to your Paypal Shopping cart you will have the option to Continue Shopping if you wish to go back and choose more items, such as Featured Property Advertising or Photo Service. Check the quantities for each item are correct and the select Proceed to Checkout. You do not need to have a Paypal account to complete the payment and even if you do you will still be able to complete the payment without logging into your Paypal account. Simply click on Continue and proceed with entering the necessary details. Be sure that the Name and Billing Address are those that are associated with the Credit Card you are using. When you have completed those details, click on Review Order and Continue. If you are prompted to Log In to your Paypal account because it recognises your email address, you will have the option of continuing without logging in. Once your payment has been processed your listing will be active within 24 hours (next business day).
12. You can edit your property listing at any time by Logging In to your User Control Panel.

NO COMMITMENT It is important to understand that there is absolutely no commitment on your part as the property owner until a contract is signed.  You may add new listings, withdraw existing ones and edit every bit of information at any time.  Listing fees allow us to market our offer to clients around the world and do not represent any commitment on your part.

Please look below for details on types of listings and management services currently offered by RFTG.  You do not need to commit to any particular type of listing or service until you sign an Agreement with us.  Please keep in mind that background checks as well as preparation of the contract are provided to all clients regardless of the type of service chosen.

LISTING FEES

All property listings are charged a flat listing fee of £129. This fee is used to offset the costs involved in advertising your property worldwide.

FEATURED PROPERTY ADVERTISING

Your listing will appear as the Featured Property on RFTG. This advertising feature will showcase your property as it moves through a slide show of your property images. Every visitor to the site will see your listing as it will appear on every page of the website. For £49 you will receive 5 days of advertisement in the Featured Property spot on RFTG. Contact us today to arrange your listing to appear in the Featured Property spot.

LONDON HIGHLIGHTS ADVERTISING

Your property will appear on the front page of the website among 7 properties. For £29 your property will be featured in this position for 7 days, showcasing it to every visitor to the site. Viewers will be able to click on your property from the front page and be taken straight to your property listing. These listings also appear on the majority of search pages in the column to the left of search results.

Please keep in mind that for the Featured Property and London Highlights sections your property will be an integral part of our front page design and "look" and we reserve the right to choose photos, modify placing or approve or reject properties. We thank you for your understanding.
